Getting outside

At GOS, we demonstrate our passion for the outdoors with our actions. Our weekly experiences on the trails and rivers give us the knowledge and credibility to serve our customers better. Self-motivated adventurers dedicated to exploring the area on their days off will be considered over others.

Our backyard

To keep you inspired, The Winds alone claim 19 of Wyoming's 20 highest peaks, with Gannett Peak topping the list at 13,804 feet above sea level. There are more than 400,000 acres of Federally-designated Wilderness, over 180 active glaciers (including the largest glacier in the American Rockies), and over 3,000 alpine lakes accessible by nine different trailheads within close proximity to town. Pinedale is Wyoming's first Gateway Community to the Continental Divide Trail.

GOS-hosted events

Each summer, we host the Wind River Mountain Festival and the Surly Pika Adventure Race. Each March, we host The Drift—a winter race series that includes the highest elevation winter ultramarathon in the United States.
