Checking order status

You can check the status of your order at any time if you create an account. Simply sign in and view the orders page under My Account. If you purchased as a guest, we will send you a message as soon as your order has shipped. If you have an issue with the order you placed, contact us.

Free shipping eligibility

Orders over $75 (after discounts) in the Continental United States qualify for free shipping.
We do not offer free shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or International Shipments.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

*Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within the continental United States.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

greatoutdoorshop.com ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Shipment confirmation & order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, duties and taxes

greatoutdoorshop.com is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).


greatoutdoorshop.com is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

International Shipments

We currently do not ship outside the U.S.

Return policy

30-day returns

If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your item within 30 days for a refund. Please read below for more details on our return policy.

Items eligible for return

You may return most new, unused, and unopened items within 30 days of delivery. Some items are not eligible for return by mail, including but not limited to large batteries, fuel canisters, and bear spray. Items from ‘All Sales Final’ sale events are not eligible for return.


Once your return is received, inspected and approved for return, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and are processing your refund.

Return in-store

To return items directly to our store, please bring your original receipt or packing slip and the credit card used for the purchase.

Return by mail

Use the process below to submit an item for return by mail.

Steps for sending your return:

  1. Use our contact page to request an RMA number.
  2. Repackage your item in the box sent to you or use your own box. Include your RMA and Order Number in the return package. (If returning shoes, the shoe box itself should not be considered packaging-please package your box to protect its integrity for possible resale.)
  3. Send your package with the carrier of your choice.

Please note: Some items are not eligible for return by mail, including but not limited to large batteries, fuel canisters, and bear spray. Unused and unopened items purchased in the last 30 days may be returned directly to the store.
